Hannah Montana Songs Ranked

Writer's picture: Down Memory LaneDown Memory Lane

It's gonna be a tough battle of the ballads with this blog post. These are my favorite Hannah Montana songs. The ultimate jams and the underrated classics. I picked from every album, including Hannah Montana: The Movie and the Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert. This was a very difficult task, by the way. More difficult than expected. And if you don't agree with my choices, well Nobody's Perfect (I'm sorry, I had to!)

1. He Could Be the One

There should be no explanation needed. Not only is this the top Hannah Montana song on Spotify (for good reason), but the corresponding episode was top notch. Team Jesse all the way.

2. Rock Star

You can impress people by singing this one because it has a decent amount of lyrics that you memorized as a kid and still know today! Rock Star screams classic Hannah Montana.

3. Gonna Get This

Straight up just a good song. If this wasn't Hannah Montana, I could hear it being played on the radio. I'd ask how they got Iyaz for this, but really he was the lucky one.

4. The Climb

One time my Catholic elementary school took us on a field trip to a Jewish school for some "interfaith" bonding. Naturally, we ate Oreos and sang The Climb together.

5. Que Sera

I loved listening to this one on my Barbie CD player. And I was a sucker for pretty much every Hannah Montana Forever song.

6. If We Were A Movie

Um, featuring Corbin Bleu. Nothing else needs to be said. This may have been one of the first songs downloaded on my iPod Nano.

7. See You Again

My only complaint is why does Miley sing "My best friend Leslie says..." Why not Lilly? Or Lola? What am I missing here?

8. Hoedown Throwdown

After this movie came out, everyone at my school would learn this dance together at recess.

9. You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home

Continuing the Hannah Montana movie pattern with this massive bop!

10. I'll Always Remember You

Every single time I hear this song I cry. My high school also conveniently chose to play it in our graduation slideshow. It's just the song to remind you of your childhood ending.

11. Barefoot Cinderella

I told you I loved Hannah Montana Forever. Sorry not sorry.

12. Ice Cream Freeze (Let's Chill)

I remember I accidentally bought the karaoke version CD at Barnes and Noble instead of the original and was heartbroken. At least I learned the words quickly.

13. Butterfly Fly Away

An underrated gem. This scene with Billy Ray!!!

14. We Got the Party

But the Live Concert version with The Jonas Brothers.

15. Pumpin' Up the Party

Play this one at any get-together. I promise it'll pump up the party. At the very least, it'll pump up the people who have taste in music.

16. I Got Nerve

I honestly find a way to quote this song more often than should be possible.

17. Who Said

If you're looking for motivation, just give this one a listen. And then power-pose in front of your mirror.

18. Let's Get Crazy

I love this song but the scene in the movie frustrates me way too much for it to get a higher ranking!

19. I Wanna Know You

So good. We got David Archuleta and an adorable prom montage.

20. Are You Ready

Closing this list with yet another Hannah Montana Forever bop. Everyone needs to give that whole album more appreciation!

Special Mentions:

The Bone Dance - Seriously helpful in 9th grade Biology.

She's No You - It may be a Jesse McCartney song, but it's actually on the 2006 Hannah Montana album. So it counts.

Crazier - Seriously one of Taylor's best songs ever.

You may have noticed I didn't include a few top hits like The Best of Both Worlds and Nobody's Perfect. While I love those songs too, I think they were overplayed and they aren't the ones I listen to most often. If I ranked every song, this list would have taken me hours! And while that would be fun, I do have to cap my enthusiasm at some point. I am still a college student after all.
